Founded in 2011, the award-winning EAFL is the longest-running American football program in the Middle East.
The 2023/24 EAFL season will start on Monday, September 4th, 2023.
As we continue our exciting new approach to football in the UAE, the football season will be split into three parts – Fall, Spring, and Summer.
We follow the USA Football Development model to create exciting and wholesome experiences for our athletes and coaches. This structure runs through our curriculum, rules, and events.
Fall Football Development (Non-Contact)
We focus on non-contact activities designed to teach the fundamentals of football and develop a range of skills for all athletes from beginner to advanced level. Catching, throwing, footwork, and ball-carrying, along with competitive flag football games and tournaments. We teach the athletes the key skills they will use, if they continue on to compete in the tackle football season.
Spring Tackle Football – (Full-Contact)
Full-contact, tackle football season complete with games, officials, playoffs and the Desert Bowl XII championship in March 2024!
Summer Flag Football (Non-Contact)
Have some fun with your teammates and friends at the end of the season as we mix things up. New teams, skills and games each session.
